Pointers In Need held their first ever Companion Dog Show on Sunday 18th June 2017….and it was a great success!
The show was held at Priors Marston, Warwickshire, on what was a very sunny and extremely hot day. Judge for the day was Professor David Brigden.
“Members of the PIN team ran the whole show super efficiently and a great day was had by all who participated. The Pointers in Need stand was in pride of place at the venue, and we had a steady stream of customers throughout the day – Bob was on hand at the stand for loads of cuddles and attention which he absolutely loved.
The team would just like to thank everybody (two legged and four legged) who turned up, on what was a very hot day, and Father’s Day, whether you took part in the Pedigree classes, the Novelty classes or both, or just turned up to watch. The support we received was really appreciated, and all for a great cause.” Said Andrew Everett, PIN Secretary. “It was also great to put some new faces to names, and the team sincerely hope that you all had a great day. We look forward to hopefully catching up again at Pointerfest next month. Thanks once again.”
Don’t take our word for it being a great show – see what some of the Pointer lovers who attended said:
“A lovely relaxing, friendly show. Large flat ring and a good venue. Look forward to next year.” Wendy Gordon
“Lovely happy day, meeting old and new friends. A very good choice of Judge whom was charming and gentle going over the dogs.” Linda Howes
“This has been the perfect way to spend Father’s Day!” Clive – With Nicky, Erin and two Pointers, Merlin & Beryl.
