This adorable black and white rescue Pointer is currently in Serbia. Timothy first came to our attention at the end of 2015. He had been found, alone, in woods without food or water, waiting for his owners to come and collect him. They never did. After several days, half starved, terrified and covered in bite marks, Timothy was taken to safety at a refuge.
There his loving rescuers began the long hard process of rehabilitation. Timothy was given high quality food and proper veterinary care. Initially very withdrawn and uncomfortable around other dogs, he slowly came out of his shell. Several months on, this fabulous boy is now really playful, liking nothing more than dashing about with his friends. Importantly he enjoys being cuddled and handled by the staff. Timothy is a very gentle dog and is so deserving of an extra special home to call his own.
Update from Timothy’s foster carer, Jayne Lambe:
Timmy is going to be 5 in Aug and would like nothing better than to have a home of his own to celebrate in!
He’s living with a family of 4 (2 kids 12 and 13) and 3 other dogs at the moment in Wales and has become a fantastic boy who loves everyone and is learning recall on the Gower beaches.
Timmy loves attention both from humans and dogs and would be best suited to a home with another dog for company. He’s house trained and travels well in the car but needs someone to continue training him especially to not pull on the lead. Timmy will make someone a lovely companion whom he will adore and ALWAYS be pleased to see.
Please give this handsome boy the chance he deserves. Please get in touch with our team if you think you could offer him the support and care that he needs.
