Chispa - Pointers In Need

About Chispa

Sex: Female           Age: 9 years

Dumped in the perrera (pound) by her owner – most probably because she had a large tumour on her mammary gland.

She is 9 years old and had probably also outlived her usefulness for breeding.

Chispa is an extraordinarily loving dog – desperate for attention (a ‘velcro’ dog)!  Having said that, she has lots of energy and loves being outside. Chispa is much more timid/frightened inside – she’s a normal, happy, energetic dog outside!  Inside she wraps herself around your legs and wants to cling to you.  She’s not frightened of men, but clearly bonds more easily with a lady.  If you have a good sized, fenced garden, this would be lovely for Chispa.  She will take her lead from other dogs, so companions who are happy, secure and waggy tailed will be a big help to her.

Chispa’s tumour was removed whilst she was being spayed and is now in really good health, apart from a low leish (Leishmaniasis) level – which can be easily managed by inexpensive tablets.

Chispa will respond beautifully to patience and love and will make a wonderful, loyal companion.
