About Pointer Ciara
Sex: Female Age: 4 years
Ciara is in Turkey, is 4 years old and has been spayed
Ciara is a typical pointer that just wants human company, she loves humans and being fussed, especially by males. Ciara is an easy dog to look after, she loves a walk and then settles down for the rest of the day. She will happily play with toys and hasn’t caused any damage to her carers home. Ciara sleeps well at night but sometimes gets a bit anxious, she gets scared by loud noises and can become stressed but this is getting better over time and with a loving home she should soon settle down.
Ciara would be better suited as an only pet as she is very jealous in the household of other dogs, if they come up for a fuss she tends to bark and go for them but not bite. Ciara does play well with other dogs when outdoors with no problem and is very friendly towards them. Ciara is not a friend of cats and has not been tested with children. Ciara would suit an owner who doesn’t work or an older family.
Ciara has a small skin tag on her leg which has been checked and is best to leave, her front teeth are worn down at the bottom, we think this is due to being chained up and probably chewed the chain. She has had a full dental check and cleaned and three teeth removed.
Ciara loves soft food and is being raw fed feed twice a day. Ciara isn’t a vocal dog except with other dogs in the home. She dreams a lot and moves a lot when she dreams. Ciara is good on a lead but if she sees a cat will pull. She is fab off lead and will not run off but likes to explore a little but always comes back,
Ciara is a great, easy dog who just wants reassurance and love from a loving family in her forever home.
Ciara will come with 5 weeks FREE insurance and the full back up support of the wonderful Pointers In Need team.
