Claire - Pointers in Need

About Pointer Claire

Sex: Female        Age: 2 years

Claire is in Turkey, is 2 years old and has been spayed

Claire was bought by the owner when she was a puppy for hunting, she had no interactions with humans and was only taken out of her kennel for hunting.  Claire was dumped at the shelter by her owner as she was not very good at hunting. That day her rescuer  who voluntarily visited the shelter regularly, saw Claire in shelter in the middle of other mix breed dogs. Claire was trying to escape from the other  dogs and tried to hide in the corner of shelter in fear. The rescuer removed her as she could see the distressed being with the other dogs was causing Claire.  Claire was rescued on the same day she was dumped at shelter and luckily didn’t have to spend a night there.

Claire is a very gentle, calm  lady who loves to be with humans, although she never had a home life with humans, she behaves very gently.  She is a very easy going girl and could adapt herself to a new life with her forever family.

Claire is good at walking on lead, loves to travel by car, enjoys walking, running and playing with her fur friends. She gets along with other dogs, cats and children. Claire can be the first, second or third dog in a family.  She doesn’t have any aggression to protect food.  Claire is now looking for her forever home and family.
