We are so excited – the countdown to PointerFest has begun.
The Pointers in Need (PIN) team, together with our beloved Pointers, will be at Pointerfest 2017 – and we hope that you will be joining us to celebrate this wonderful breed and at the same time, help us raise much needed funds.
We’ll be on hand to showcase all the beautiful Pointers we have available for adoption. Whether you are currently a Pointer owner or not, we’d love to have the opportunity to encourage you to get involved, either by becoming a fosterer, fundraiser or helping to spread the word about our work.
Pointerfest is a fantastic annual charity event led by a dedicated and very sociable bunch of Pointer people! The aim is brilliantly simple – to have lots of fun through the packed programme of events, whilst raising much needed funds for charities supporting the breed – including Pointers In Need. The all-day event is held in Shrewley, Warwickshire where dogs of all varieties and their human friends are welcome to try new activities, make friends and soak up the relaxed atmosphere. Pointerfest will take place on 29th July 2017 and is free to attend. See last year’s photos to see just how fab this event truly is.
Look out for the Pointers In Need stall with the distinctive blue bunting where we hope to tempt you with branded PIN goodies including our popular t-shirts and hoodies, exclusive ‘Bob the Pointer’ mugs, badges, keyrings, and an array of beautiful Pointer greetings cards designed especially for us.
