Skyla’s rehoming story.

Well where shall we start?!!

We have had Pointers for nearly 11 years starting with Humbug and then Hobnob 2 weeks later as we loved them so much. Gradually built up to 6 with Humbug a trained PAT dog and loving agility and showing Fudge and Flurry and qualifying for Crufts several times.

We decided to see if we could rescue a Pointer that needed love and care as we had the time, love and a spare sofa to do that so the obvious choice was Pointers In Need.  What a good decision that was. 😁  Karin Ringrose was spectacularly good in finding darling Skyla for us after we told her about our lifestyle and how any new dog would have to mix well with others.  Skyla came to join us in October last year after successful home check (doggie heaven!!!) she is just the funniest little girl.  Always on the go and seems really happy here.  We then thought about another rescue to keep her company and found little Anya an abandoned pup in Spain so we were lucky enough to adopt her too.   Anya arrived in January . The two rescues are best friends and make us laugh out loud at their antics.  They both seem really happy here and we will always go down the rescue route from now on.  They seem to “know” somehow they have a chance of a happy loving home and are just so affectionate and loving.  All they want to do in the evening after walks and food and play is to have a cuddle, tummy tickle and nose kisses 💓💓💓.  Then they settle down on your lap so you cant move!!!!

We really really recommend Pointers in Need for their care, interest and love for all their rescues and all follow up care.

Claire and team are fantastic. We are so pleased to be a small part of their work. Xxxx

There are so many Pointers that need homes and many more still that are waiting in the wings to come onto our books.
