About Pointer Teddie
Sex: Male Age: 11 months
Teddie is in Qatar, is 11 months old and has been neutered
Teddie is looking for his forever home. We rehomed his Mom Sadie (and his three siblings) whom gave birth on a flight to Pakistan from Qatar. Teddie went to a family in Qatar but due to personal circumstances he needs to be re homed. Teddie is a GSP x Pointer. Liver/white. His DOB is 01/07/2020.11 month old Teddie is a bouncy, happy and very friendly dog. He is young and exuberant, so not good for families with younger kids who he would bowl over, aside from that he is an amazing people dog.
Teddie will sit and give his paw, but he is very strong and pulls on the leash so needs training in that area and in recall. He is a jumper, able to hop over dog gates in the house.
Teddie is crate trained and sleeps happily in his crate at night, although he’s not so fond of travel crates, but that will no doubt change as soon as he goes somewhere exciting in one. He has been living with no issues with two other dogs, and can be left without bother with them, so he would be much better with another dog or two for company (he has never lived alone). He is also living with cats without any current issues, although he would be very excited by new cats.
Teddie will shake in new situations, so has some anxiety as do a lot of GSDs. He is currently around 22 kilos and approximately 65cm tall at his head.
He is an absolutely lovely dog. His fosterers want desperately to adopt him but sadly his presence causes issues between the other dogs in the household. This is not specific to him but to all dogs they have fostered. He can travel from Qatar to LHR ( Heathrow) On the 7th June.
